Memory

The narrative of Slovakia’s IFS 2017 presentation – a shape-shifting jigsaw of memories exploring the inspirations, intentions, thoughts and processes behind its emerging designers’ creations – is guided by its audience. Discover a ‘memory carrier’ – a cloth, a stone, or even a garment – and place it in the terminal at the centre of this interactive, haptic installation. Light, sound and tactility combine to project evocative visions and insights into the intricacies of Slovakian fashion design, symbolising the limitless potential of global media technologies in enabling the country’s rising creatives to reach ever-expanding audiences.
