The inaugural International Fashion Showcase (IFS) brought together 19 countries presenting work by emerging fashion designers, in a series of imaginative and thoughtful fashion exhibitions on show across the city during London Fashion Week 2012. 

Designed by emerging jeweller Jordan Askill, the award for Best In Show was awarded to the Korean Cultural Centre for their exhibition A New Space Around the Body, and presented at a ceremony held in Somerset House, the home of London Fashion Week.

Sarah Mower MBE, British Fashion Council’s Ambassador for Emerging Talent led the judging panel, which included; Anna Orsini (British Fashion Council), Alison Moloney (British Council), Claire Catterall (Somerset House), Donna Loveday (Design Museum), Jess Cartner-Morely (The Guardian), Maria Lemos (Rainbowave), Oriole Cullen (V&A), Penny Martin (Gentle Woman), Susanne Tide-Frater and Wendy Dagworthy (Royal College of Art).
