Reframing Spaces – the Catalyst Cube in Caracas is a free exhibition open from 24 February – 29 August 2020 at Building Centre.
In June 2018, the British Council launched an open call inviting architects, artists and designers to submit proposals for public space interventions that could reinvigorate urban areas within the city of Caracas, Venezuela.
The aim of the project was to explore ideas that would improve the quality of life of local people and in response to this, the outcome is the Catalyst Cube. A reconfigurable social, cultural and educational space that acts as a focal point where different communities meet.
Come and experience it for yourself in the exhibition curated by the Building Centre exhibitions team and Will Sandy Design Studio.
The exhibition is supported by the British Council and Built Environment Trust.
