Jakub Straka is a Bratislava, Slovakia based designer, currently studying MA at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava. His garments are created with an attention on precision and craftsmanship. The design process begins with research, followed by sampling, and is focused on fine handwork techniques. He often uses natural textile materials such as linen and wool. Jakub Straka’s clothing collections tend to reveal the pure and vulnerable part of female soul and encourage women to express their individuality at the same time.
