The British Council is participating in GF Smith's 'Beauty in the Making' event with an exhibition of eight projects that capture and celebrate the artistry of graphic design. Drawn from the Council's ongoing collaborations with some of the most exciting practitioners in the UK's cultural industries, the exhibition reclaims the spotlight for the design that carries and communicates these projects to international audiences.

Displays of print and development work from Anthony BurrillObjectif, Julia, Marque, Bianca Wendt and Kellenberger-White reflect evolving responses to the challenge of building cultural relationships through design. The exhibition traces the design-in-process story of the eight selected projects, from the collection of visual and site-specific inspirations and sketches, through to the final creative output.

The exhibition is curated by Rebecca Lynch and runs from 23-27 April at Victoria House, London. The show is part of 'Beauty in the Making', a free five-day event hosted by GFSmith in collaboration with various creative institutions, including It's Nice That and Monotype.
