5 June 2018
In collaboration with Abierto Mexicano de Diseño (AMD), the British Council has commissioned London and Liverpool-based Studio MUTT to design a new public installation for Mexico City. The piece will be unveiled during this year's AMD in October.
Before then, Studio MUTT will be in Mexico for site visits and research, and on Thursday 7 June 2018 they will do a public talk where they will present their work and some of the initial inspirations for the installation. The work will be inspired by Mexico and its culture and, once completed, will be installed at Alameda Central, Mexico City's central park. The event and the installation are part of Mexico City World Design Capital.
Public Talk
The event is free to attend. For further information on the commission and talk, visit the British Council Mexico website (in Spanish).
