Round 16 of the Artists' International Development Fund (AIDF) is now open for applications
AIDF exists to facilitate international collaboration among artists and creative practitioners between the UK and other countries and is funded jointly by Arts Council England and the British Council.
Intended as a launchpad for the development of markets and audiences overseas, the fund advocates freelance and self-employed artists to broaden their horizons through work, travel and exploration by collaborating on a professional project, while also giving audiences the chance to enjoy talent from around the world.
Applicants should be based in England, in the early stages of career development and able to demonstrate interest generated within a host country (see guidelines). Creatives across all disciplines are encouraged to apply: creative producers, curators, editors and artists, as well as architects, fashion designers and designers.
How to apply
New applicant profiles must be submitted for validation on ACE's online application system and deadline for applications is 5pm on Wednesday 14th June 2017.

Outcomes for this current round will be announced by Wednesday 2 August 2017 (project activity cannot commence prior to this date).
Those who previously applied to Rounds 13, 14 & 15 cannot apply.
