Studio TILT & MOE+art Architecture
17 July 2014
Vicky Richardson will travel to Lagos, Nigeria next week, taking part in an evening conversation with Papa Omotayo of MOE+ art Architecture. The discussion will consider the importance of collaboration in architecture, exploring the size and scale of the megacity and how a self-organising urban framework could hold the key to the future of Lagos.
The discussion follows the British Council’s International Architecture Showcase 2014, curated as a series of residencies where ten visiting architects were paired with ten UK practices, working together over two week period to propose new ideas for specific sites across Poplar, London. This year MOE+ art Architecture teamed up with British designers Studio Tilt to explore the possible urban futures of London and Lagos.
The event will take place at A White Space Creative Agency, Lagos on 31 July, 6-10pm. To reserve a place at the talk please RSVP to: firstname.lastname@example.org
