The Lina Bo Bardi Fellowship is a 4-year programme run by the British Council that gives architects and designers based in the UK the opportunity to travel and explore first-hand the work and legacy of Lina Bo Bardi and related architects and designers in Brazil.

Jane’s research focussed on Lina Bo Bardi's influence on contemporary architecture education and practice in Brazil today, and through this process uncovered a wider set of interesting questions about the changing legacy of Lina in Brazilian memory. As well as visiting a number of Lina’s buildings and cultural projects, gathered information from archives, and met with some of Brazil's most prominent architects, filming a series of interviews with these and different young practices and students.

This event will include a short screening of these interviews as part of Jane's research presentation, followed by a panel discussion exploring her findings.
