Over two days in downtown Seoul, Playable City will host a suite of specially created Urban Games during the Seoul Architecture Biennale. This mini festival of Urban Play will invite the public to explore and reimagine public space along and surrounding the Cheonggyecheon Stream in downtown Seoul.  Through an open call seven Korean artists have been commissioned to develop games which will facilitate members of the public to explore their environment in new and exciting ways.  All the artists will be mentored by Playable City Producers and Associates throughout the process, who together combine many years expertise in creating unique experiences for the public to explore, reimagine, and reconnect to familiar sites.

The overall experience delivered over the two days will develop and create new digitally enabled participatory works where general audiences and local communities are engaged, connect citizens to their city in new ways, re-imagine new scenarios of use for well know areas, encourage more walking in the city; as well as contribute to placemaking and wellbeing in the city centre.
