Clara Aguayo was born in 1991 in Montevideo, Uruguay. Graduating from the Fashion and Textile course at the Escuela Universitaria Centro de Diseño (EUCD) and Pattern Design from the Universidad del Trabajo del Uruguay (UTU), she’s interested in the creation and construction of garments which combine different constructive techniques.
Her experience includes designing for Latin America's Slow Fashion pioneer Ana Livni and founding Estudio Null, with fellow designer Renata Casanova. Estudio Null won the Young Innovators contest of the National Agency for Research and Innovation (ANII) and the Sinergia Business Incubator. The brand is characterised by the application of tailoring techniques and an exclusive Zero Waste pattern making system developed by the brand. Recently Clara has decided to take a different direction, working in the development of her own sustainable fashion brand
