Land of Diversity, Time of Contrasts

'Land of Diversity, Time of Contrasts’ explores the work of 16 emerging designers through clothing, accessories and jewellery. Stylistic boundaries are broken down in the pursuit of an unexplored conceptual path. The innovative aesthetics of the designs spark a fluid dialogue with the surrounding environment and the curatorial project invites us to follow creative lines on the theme of re-interpreting materials – wool, camelidae fur, leather, metal and cotton – from which novel forms and unique textures emerge. Ancestral knowledge is fused with industrial techniques, while the rational and the emotional merge, producing design pieces which are highly-traceable and express an imperfect, simple beauty.

Curated by Germán Lang, Laureano Mon & Sebastián Rodriguez.
