Fashion DNA Ukraine launches digital showcase during Ukrainian Fashion Week
Now in its third year Fashion DNA Ukraine launched a digital project showcasing eight emerging designers during Ukrainian Fashion Week in Kyiv. Presented as an online interactive space the project was conceived and created by digital art director Jon Emmony in collaboration with Ukranian creative studio Seentax Services including illustrators Love Curly and Vlad Dmitriev, writer Ira Lupu, photographer Misha Bochkarev and sound artist Sasha Zlykh.
Each designer has created a digital scene which communicates the essence of their brand which audiences can explore by clicking, dragging and rotating on screen. The concepts were generated in a two day creative workshop in Kyiv led by Jon Emmony which followed a business development workshop led by Jan Miller and James Brackenbury.
As with previous editions Fashion DNA intending to connect business knowledge to creative practice; with many emerging designers generating their first sales through e-commerce the project aimed to connect designers to cutting-edge digital practice and enhance and complement their sales potential in a creative way.
