Round 17 of the Artists' International Development Fund (AIDF) is now open for applications

AIDF exists to facilitate international collaboration among artists and creative practitioners between the UK and other countries and is funded jointly by Arts Council England and the British Council.

Intended as a launchpad for the development of markets and audiences overseas, the fund advocates freelance and self-employed artists to broaden their horizons through work, travel and exploration by collaborating on a professional project, while also giving audiences the chance to enjoy talent from around the world.

Applicants should be based in England, in the early stages of career development and able to demonstrate interest generated within a host country (see guidelines). Creatives across all disciplines are encouraged to apply: creative producers, curators, editors and artists, as well as architects, fashion designers and designers.

How to apply

Round 17 of the Artists' International Development Fund deadline will open on Thursday 12 October 2017 with a deadline for submission of applications of 5pm Wednesday 13 December 2017

New applicant profiles must be submitted for validation on ACE's online application system and the deadline for applications is 5pm Wednesday 29 November 2017.
