We are delighted to announce that Gwen Webber has been appointed as our Programme Manager for Architecture.

Gwen Webber will take up the role of Programme Manager for Architecture from the end of March and we look forward to welcoming her into this key role within the Architecture Design Fashion team.

Last year, Gwen returned to the British Council as the Project Manager for the British Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale 2016. She worked with curators Jack Finn, Shumi Bose and Finn Williams on Home Economics which welcomed over 145,000 visitors to the British Pavilion. Gwen’s current role as Venice Fellowships Programme Manager spans two teams, Visual Arts and ADF, as she develops the British Pavilion’s first steward-research programme in Venice.

We are delighted to welcome Gwen into her new position this Spring, where she will manage and shape the British Council’s work in architecture around the globe. Gwen will also be responsible for programmes across all of our disciplines in at least one global region.
