Ivan Frolov showed the premiere collection of his brand FROLOV at Ukrainian Fashion Week in 2014, at the time studying engineering, design technology and construction at Kiev National University of Technology and Design. Following this, Vogue Ukraine called him one of the most promising Ukrainian designers and his brand won the Best Fashion Awards 2014 nomination, "Breakthrough of the Year".

Intelligent provocation and sex are the cross-cutting motives of the designer’s creativity. In his collections he explores the meanings and boundaries of sexuality and gender relations.
