Ancuța Sarca is a recent graduate of the Art and Design University of Cluj Napoca, Romania, and is currently based in London. With childhood memories deeply rooted in post-communist Romania, Ancuța Sarca is an explorer who hasn’t lost her innocent curiosity and constantly questions cultural concepts. In her most recent collection, Ancuta translates concepts of social and cultural movement into the feel of unconventional materials, vibrant colours and hi-tech fabric experiments. Her latest collection entitled XYZ is an eclectic composition mixing 18th century opulence with 20th century subcultures.
