Lupe Gajardo is an independent costume designer, who created her eponymous brand five years ago. In 2012, she presented in a showroom at the Berlin Fashion Week. In 2013, she collaborated on a limited edition campaign for Coca-Cola light. Following this in 2015, she presented her winter collection in the New York Fashion Week, becoming the first Chilean designer on that catwalk. Her eclectic, versatile and timeless proposals are the reflection and response to contemporary local social movements under a very personal aesthetic and are generally inspired by imagined and real landscapes of the north of Chile. Through her clothing and costumes, Lupe asks us to appreciate the beauty of the unique, the authentic, the different.
