David Valencia was born in Guatemala. His family's textile business inspired him to move to New York to study fashion design. In 2014 he successfully graduated from Parsons New School For Design with multiple outstanding achievements, including Designer of the Year and Portfolio of the Year nominations. His work has been featured at Style.com, the CUT Magazine and SAKS 5th Avenue. Since graduation David has been a design fellow for Parsons Design Lab and also collaborated in a collection for LDNY.
