If you're planning to visit the Venice Biennale during the Vernissage on Friday 6 June, we welcome you to join us for two special events at the British Pavilion.
A Clockwork Jeruselam
Friday 6 June 2014
12.00 – 13.00
British Pavilion / piano terra
From Stonehenge to council estates, from Ebenezer Howard to Cliff Richard, from ruins and destruction to back-to-the-land rural fantasies, through architecture, records, books and adverts, Sam Jacob (FAT Architecture) and Wouter Vanstiphout (Crimson Architectural Historians) introduce A Clockwork Jerusalem. Chaired by Alastair Donald (British Council)
This event is free but space is limited; entry will be on a first come, first serve basis.
Our second Vernissage talk on Friday 6 June will address the question 'Is there such a thing as national architecture?', and is organised in partnership with Phaidon Press. For full details please click here.
