Naoise Farrell is a graduate in Fashion Design from the National College of Art and Design Dublin. Her graduate menswear collection ‘Basted Estate’ is a response to the overt consumerism and dishonesty of the Celtic Tiger years. By integrating with the liberal nature of contemporary dance, her pieces communicate traditional values, honesty and dynamism. Designs are grounded in familiar men’s garments, with working illustrations printed on the exterior, exposing the veracity of the design process.
