João Melo Costa studied at the university of the Arts in Porto in 2008 and then CITEX. In 2012 he presented his first collection at Portugal Fashion, earning him a nomination for best new talent. In September 2013 he debuted his SS14 collection during London fashion week. Costa also showcased his work in a pop-up installation at the 2014 IFS.
