David Catalán is a Spanish fashion brand, based in Madrid and Porto and was founded in 2012 by the designer and Almudena Bertón. A graduate of ESDIR in La Rioja, Spain, David Catalán fuses his youth with the international experience he collected during his two years of study at the prestigious ESAD-Matosinhos in Porto. His thesis, ‘Coverless’ consolidated his identity as a designer as did his debut at the EGO runway in Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid SS15, where he won the ‘Mercedes Benz Talent’ award – which will take him to Mercedes-Benz Istanbul Fashion Week.
