Architect’s Eye, a competition which celebrates and encourages photography by architects has been launched.
Open to UK architects it is split into two distinct categories: Architecture and Place and Architecture and People. The winner in each category will receive a weekend break for two anywhere in the EU.
This year the Architect’s Eye Judging Panel is chaired by leading architect Simon Allford, Director at international studio Allford Hall Monaghan Morris. Alongside Allford, the prestigious judging panel will be composed of renowned architect Keith Priest (Fletcher Priest Architects), noted architectural photographers Quintin Lake and George Kavanagh, Martine Hamilton Knight (The Royal Photographic Society), Dr Irena Murray (Sir Banister Fletcher Director, British Architectural Library, RIBA) and Amanda Baillieu (BD Editor-in-Chief)
The winning works will be showcased in an exhibition at the Roca London Gallery coinciding with the London Festival of Architecture in June 2013.
Closing date for entries is Tuesday 30th April.
