It's that time of year again, after the success of the inaugural International Fashion Showcase last year, the British Council and British Fashion Council - together with 27 countries and over 100 emerging fashion designers - bring you a series of exciting international fashion exhibitions from around the world right here in London.
Giving the public, together with international press, buyers and curators, the opportunity to explore the collections of some of the most innovative emerging fashion designers from around the world, the International Fashion Showcase takes place over London Fashion Week in February.
Head to Somerset House to see a joint effort from the Scandinavian countries, Denmark, Norway and Sweden who will present 12 emerging designers to accompany the launch of the Thames and Hudson publication, Fashion Scandinavia: Contemporary Cool. Or pop into the Old Central Saint Martins building on Southampton Row to see collections from Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Uruguay and Slovakia, while up the road in Bloomsbury the Horse Hospital will be transformed into a mythical, immersive world of Estonian Fashion.
For full exhibition listings and schedule of events, you can download our International Fashion Showcase 2013 guide, designed by graphic designer Joseph Pochodzaj, here. Alternatively you can pick up a hard copy at any of the exhibition venues across London or at Somerset House, home of London Fashion Week.
Joseph has also designed a series of country stamps which you will find at each exhibition venue. Collect six stamps or more to be entered into a prize draw to win a VIP day at Vodaphone London Fashion Weekend, including a £250 voucher to spend on over 100 British designers. For full details please see the guide.
We hope you enjoy the exhibitions and hope to bump into you on your travels this month!
