‘Studio Insight – the wonder cabinets of Europe’ investigates Europe’s wealth of cultural diversity and the international aspect of design.

The exhibition presents a project launched by Livia Lauber and Maria Jeglinska. Eight design studios, seven nationalities from five European cities, have each been given a cabinet functioning as a three dimensional library to showcase their method and their individual cultural context. As planned, it is exhibition within an exhibition - each designer has been given a small space, a "case" in which the project is being showcased as a contribution to the London Design Festival.

Designers display their personal materials related to context of the artwork - sketches, inspirational objects and images - feels like each one of them is bringing bringing a piece of their studio to share it with visitors.

The exhibition is open until 23 September

11.00–19.00

4 Cromwell Place,

South Kensington, SW7 2JE
