After graduating from the RCA, Jane launched the collection at London Fashion Week to widespread acclaim. Her work was then photographed by Nick Knight for AnOtherman Magazine, she was featured in Dazed Digital Rise for emerging designers and in a Guardian film for hotly tipped young graduate talents.
Jane’s collections transform inexpensive and mundane materials into unique garments and her work will provide an interesting perspective within this year's Look of Style awards which focus on the theme of sustainability.
The Look of Style is an annual fashion competition for emerging Filipino designers and is run by the British Council in partnership with the leading Philippine fashion magazine LOOK, the national newspaper of the Philippines - The Inquirer and Samsung and culminates in the award show which will take place in Manila this November.
In addition to showing the collection, Jane will also participate on the judging panel to select the overall winner from the competition finalists and host a public talk and practical workshop at the School of Fashion and the Arts in Manila.
