Over the past couple of months Lina Bo Bardi: Together, a major UK showcase of Bo Bardi’s influential work has been on display at the British Council’s new public gallery space in London. Arper, the exhibition's sponsor, has created this film with Tapio Snellman about the development of the exhibition and Arper's reinterpretation of Bo Bardi's Bowl Chair in hommage. The exhibition is open until November 30th 2012.
To conclude the exhibition, Jude Kelly and Danilo Santos de Miranda will discuss the role of the arts centre in cultural life in the UK and Brazil on 29 November 2012, 6:30pm at the Southbank Centre.
Jude Kelly is Artistic Director of Southbank Centre and Danilo Santos de Miranda is the Director of Serviço Social do Comércio in Sao Paolo state. Together they discuss access, ambition, international programming and the partnerships they are building around the world.
The discussion is chaired by Graham Sheffield, Director of Arts for the British Council.
