Seminar: Saturday 10 November, 2-6pm
Over the past couple of months Lina Bo Bardi: Together, a major UK showcase of Bo Bardi’s influential work has been on display at the British Council’s new public gallery space in London. Bo Bardi was born in Italy, but in 1946 at the age of 31, she moved to Brazil, the country she made her home. Her legacy as an architect, set designer, editor, illustrator, furniture designer and curator has yet to be fully acknowledged.
Working in collaboration with the British Council, the ICA seminar is a unique opportunity to learn about Bo Bardi’s work with participants including Brazilian experts in her areas of work, former colleagues, and architects and writers who have taken an interest in her work and career.
