It’s late afternoon and I’ve arrived in Bangkok just after a deluge to find the city drying out. First stop is the fantastic Thailand Creative and Design Centre where I meet Karin, Montinee and the team to unpack and install Everything Forever Now.

The build is finished in the gallery and already some of the Thai exhibits are installed.

The first is the amazing Elderly on the Move installation by Openspace which features seating, planters and exercise equipment constructed from bamboo and recycled rubber.

The project brings together shared skills, young and old to create an outdoor community space in Pathumthani in Bangkok which is built, maintained and enjoyed by the community.

We set to work unpacking all the exhibits and there’s mutual curiosity about all the different projects in the exhibition.

We finish late so it’s some food and recovering from the journey before the first full day tomorrow.
