Beauty in the Making
‘Beauty in the Making’ brings together a group of rising stars in Romanian fashion design: Ioana Ciolacu, Lana Dumitru, Cristina Sabaiduc and Lucian Broscăţean. The exhibition provides an exclusive insight into their working methods, celebrating the challenging beauty of the unfinished and placing its aesthetics centre stage. The processes behind their collections will be revealed on catwalks and film, exploring a variety of creative approaches – drawing, print, pattern and image. The garments will play with the promise of expressive potential, as the exhibition will oscillate between the staged and the authentic,the before and after. Step into the designers’ open studio and witness beauty in the making.

Ioana studied at the London College of Fashion and won the Fashion Talent Award ‘Designer for Tomorrow’ in 2013.
