Markéta Kratochvílová graduated from Eva Eisler's studio K.O.V. at Prague's AAAD. She also studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York. She was nominated for the Czech Grand Design award and was the winner of the Czech Grand Design 2014 Editors Award. Her deep interest in women, their lives and the female body reflects in her very unique approach to jewellery design. "In my designs, I strive to support the relationship of a female body with jewelry and explore its capacity to express itself and have impact on its wearer and her life".
