Possible Futures: 7 Days in Poplar documents the International Architecture Showcase 2014, curated as a series of residencies where ten international architects were paired with ten UK practices to work on ideas for sites across Poplar, London. The publication is structured as a scrapbook, providing a flexible framework for which the teams of architects submitted content, capturing the development of their ideas over the course of the residency period.
Edited by Tom Keeley and designed by Joseph Pochodzaj, the newspaper contains contributions from the residency’s programmers, partners and advisors including Vicky Richardson, Moira Lascelles, Marcel Baettig, Rory Hyde, Eleanor Fawcett, Mark Brearley, Matthew Frith and Mark Swenarton with photography by Gemma Thorpe.
The newspaper will be available from libraries and community organisations in and around Poplar.
