The brand Ryota Murakami is a son-mother partnership formed when Ryota asked for his mother Chaki’s help when he was stuck with an idea. From then on they have worked together as a design duo. Ryota is a graduate of coconogacco and Ueda Yasuko Fashion College, Osaka. He was a prize-winner at Tokyo Designers Week 2014.
