As part of our design writing and curation programme in India, we have partnered with Kyoorius magazine on ‘Create Change’ – a publication that seeks to capture inspiration design stories from India. Identified through a series of workshops in May across 4 cities in India and led by UK-based writer William Shaw, twelve writers have been researching and writing their stories. Their stories cover themes such as architecture for the marginalised, rural graphic design, textile design heroes and the controversial Delhi Bus Rapid Transit system.

The writers are being mentored by William, as well as through a series of online master classes by UK experts Shumi Bose from Blueprint, Patrick Burgoyne from Creative Review and Robert Wilson from Block magazine.

The publication - designed and printed by Kyoorius - will be distributed to all the attendees of Kyoorius’ Designyatra at the end of August in Goa. We’ll bring you William’s update from the event shortly afterwards.
