Last week Alicja at Carl Turner Architects sent over these lovely images of the 1:10 Home from Home model that Carl Turner Architects have submitted to the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.

The model is a scaled down version of the Home from Home installation,  which opened at MUDE last month, and has been displayed in its dispersed arrangement so that each of the pieces, The Day Bed, The Kitchen Table, The Commode, The Stair and The Front Room, can be examined as individual elements.

Successful applicants will be notified later this month and we wish CTA the very best of luck with their submission.

The 2011 Royal Academy Summer Exhibition showcases the best of new work from a range of established and emerging artists and will run from June 7th - August 15th, last year the show was visited by over 200,000. This year Piers Gough and Alan Stanton form part of the selection committee and will curate the architecture room.
